Mr GurJeevaan Singh Balrose, is currently a marketing content manager at a fitness training gymnasium.
GurJeevaan was part of the first cohort, Youth Corps Singapore leaders’ program where he took on the leadership role for six months on a year-long program for at-risk youths, collaborating with Expedition Agape. He was a youth ambassador for the 42nd Ship For Southeast Asian Youth Programme Japan (SSEAYP). Where 28 Singaporeans were selected each year to represent Singapore for the program organized by Japan over 7 weeks. He took on multiple roles of leadership like the Press lead for team Singapore as well as Vice-Chairman for Cultural Community for the program.
GurJeevaan enjoys storytelling because it’s a powerful tool to get people to come together and feel emotions they may not have before and get people together to learn and share about Sikhs. Sports is another outlet where he enjoys in his free time. He is passionate about contributing back to the community by helping youths on their development journey.
GurJeevaan, graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts in August 2020, he has produced and directed many films. Most recently, two films “Haruwal” & “Vichora” were nominated and “Vichora” won best original score at the National Youth Film Awards in July 2020.
