Ms Alisha Gill graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor in Social Science (Honours) in 2011. She has held policy-making roles in Singapore’s Finance and Health Ministries, and was also a researcher at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore.
Today, Alisha spends most of her time as a research consultant to various institutions. In Young Sikh Association (Singapore), she mentors the participants of the Young Leaders Programme and curates some of its activities.
Alisha’s message to youths is to seek mentors at an early age because mentors offer the most helpful and satisfying route to personal development. She also hopes more Sikh youths would gain mastery in programming languages – Python, Javascript and Ruby – because this skill will enhance their employability.
